New Star Wars Tamagotchi Asks You To Raise And Nurture Darth Vader

Tamagotchi normally task you with raising a cute alien creature from egg to adult, giving you a fun virtual pet to dote over as you watch it grow. That’s not quite the case for an upcoming release, however, as it asks you to explore the Dark Side. The Tamagotchi Nano x Star Wars: Darth Vader sees you following Anakin on his journey to become Darth Vader, with your interactions determining how exactly his story unfolds. The new model also comes with a silicone case modeled after Darth Vader’s helmet. You can preorder the Darth Vader Tamagotchi for $30 at Amazon ahead of its March 11 release.

Preordering from Amazon locks in their preorder price guarantee, so if the item gets a price cut between now and launch, you’ll pay the lower price. You also won’t be charged until the item ships.

While this upcoming Tamagotchi looks pretty cool, it’s not the first time we’ve seen a collaboration between Tamagotchi and Star Wars. There’s a Tamagotchi Nano featuring Grogu (aka Baby Yoda) with similar features that, based on your actions, turns into one of 12 appearances. The Grogu model includes three minigames and is bundled with an adorable silicone case. You can snag this Grogu Tamagotchi Nano bundle for $28. Another Grogu Tamagotchi is also up for grabs for $19, but it doesn’t include a silicone case.

The other two Star Wars Tamagotchi options at Amazon feature R2-D2. These are essentially the same, though they feature different designs Come from malaysia online casino . One is the Tamagotchi R2-D2 Classic, which is on sale for $13.59 (was $20) and comes with a white exterior, while the other is the Tamagotchi R2-D2 Hologram with a translucent blue shell. It’s listed even cheaper at just $12.74 (was $20). Beyond the shell color, these R2-D2 devices have the same features: 19 skills for the droid to learn and seven minigames to play.
